Finding a photograph one truly likes often requires patience, time and a little bit of luck...I sometimes believe that it's actually the image who finds the owner instead of the other way around. How can you explain that out of a hundred shops you simply happen to walk into the one that has a piece you just L O V E!? What about all the people that go into that same place every single day and for some reason none of them get it? That piece of art that makes your heart skip a bit, sits there day in and day out until you walk into the place, you see it and you take it home. There's something fascinating about acquiring art.
Let me tell you something about me, I like purchasing artistic photographs when I have the opportunity; one of my favorite pieces that has been hanging on one of my walls for a few years now is a limited edition print of Downtown Chicago at night on the 4th of July. I would like to say that I had researched the author and had set out explicitly to get this particular image but that would be a complete lie. The truth of the matter is I found that piece by chance: I was walking on Michigan Ave. and it was just freezing cold, the party I was with decided to go into the next available building as the weather was just unbearable and as luck would have it, the next turned out to be a photo gallery. At first I didn't want to look around much as the place looked really expensive so I thought I'd be spending much more than I coud actually allow myself. Suddenly I caught a glimpse of the image I told you about before, somebody was browsing through the photos and had just passed by the one I thought I liked. Although I had not seen the image in full detail I felt drawn to it and when the person that had been browsing went away I took the whole set and kept on looking and turning until I found the one that had caught my eye. At that time something just clicked, I had to have it and fortunately for me it was at an acceptable price so I got it!
I would like to think that if you have reached this page is because something similar has happened to you browsing through the FAR Imaging galleries, and if that is the case let me tell you what options there are so you make the most out of your investment.
Alternative 1: The Whole Nine Yards - The medium-large, author-signed, fine art print.
Nothing beats having an amazing, large print hanging on your favorite wall, trust me on this one.
Alternative 2: A Memento - A small, unsigned print to remember you of that particular place, day or mood.
Maybe you don't see any of these pictures as "wall material" but maybe you like one of them to put in an album, scrap book or similar...that's perfectly fine too:
Alternative 3: Matrix - Digital Download
Hey, I get it the Matrix rages on and you are just not into printing stuff out but that doesn't change the fact you like some images and you would like to see them as part of the regular line up showing up in your mobile device or laptop.
In order to see and choose images just go to the Art Galleries, in case you'd like a a custom job; which is different to what was explained before, you can always call me or send me an email to tell me all about it. I'll be happy to look into your request.
